I've been bothered by the appearance of my right inner labia since puberty. I'm wondering how well a labiaplasty would work with making the left and right sides match better. Is it achieveable to get the right side into a similar shape to the left without operating on both sides? Also would it cost less to have only 1 side worked on or would it cost the same regardless? - thanks in advance!

Answer: Labiaplasty A labiaplasty could improve your asymmetry dramatically. A central wedge approach on just the right side would remove that central excess and they would be much closer - but probably never identical. Cost is typically a little less but not half as much. My average labiaplasty is $4445. A unilateral is $3195. Recovery is generally a little easier though.

Answer: Could a labiaplasty help fix my asymmetry? Hello, Thank you for the question and the photos. You appear to be a good candidate for a Labiaplasty procedure to help improve symmetry and in order to make left inner lip shorter and more tucked in, when compared to the right one. I typically perform Trim technique Labiaplasty which allows to remove excess inner lip tissues with minimal scarring. Normally, it costs less to perform one-sided Labiaplasty versus both sides. This procedure is typically performed at the office under local anesthesia only. I hope this helps. Best regards, Dr. Irena Karanetz Fellowship trained Board Certified New York Plastic Surgeon
