How can I get back to my natural features after dissolving filler over a year ago? (photos)

Question

2 years ago i stupidly went to a doctor which requested to do a ‘makeover’ for me where he would check imbalances of features and with a ratio he would add filler to enhance my features. I ended up looking like a man, wide jaw, pointy chin and completely over filled, over 10ml. I had this dissolved 5 months later in bits and since then i have been unable to get my natural features back, i look puffy, fat, and swollen. What is the cause of this how do i get back to my natural face ?

Thank you for your enquiry. The photographic information is very helpful.
It would be best to have somebody examine you in person. After 2 years and also after filler dissolving treatment this should have gone back to normal. It is possible that you have some scar tissue which would need to be excised surgically.

I'm sorry that you had such a poor experience with fillers.  I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon to evaluate if all of the filler has been dissolved, if not the remainder can be addressed.  Other treatments for your skin may help give a rejuvenated look such as Morpheus8.  These treatments improve overall skin tone and texture.

In most cases filler will eventually dissolve and you should be able to achieve your natural features. It depends on the type of filler that was used, some fillers encourage collagen production from being in the skin, so you may have more volume than before doing any filler, but over time you should start to see your natural features again!

Hi, Maria, you look beautiful, but it is possible that you still have a bunch of leftover filler. It can be difficult to dissolve filler, especially if you had 10 ml. It can take many sessions and many vials of hyalase (hyaluronidase). We use ultrasound to see the deposits of old filler, and it makes it easier to dissolve it in a targeted fashion. Perhaps you can find somebody with an ultrasound to help you.
