Is it ok to get fat dissolving injections before and after a BBL?

Question

I want to get a bbl, but I also want to lose fat in the face. So I was think I could do fat dissolving injections in the face and then get a bbl and have fat dissolving injection sessions after that. I’m asking to know if this will affect my results or not.

Hello @confusedgirl2967, Thank you for your question. It's important what your plastic surgeon recommends. Our responsibility as surgeons is to guide the patients to make the best decision. Personally, I do not recommend using fat-dissolving injections in the face because fat  is to volatile to forecast an even result. First would need to know what kind of product your using for your face? Kybella? This is important because most of this act only locally so you shouldn’t have any problem while doing your lipo + BBL. Just make sure it is a safe product your using.

Fat reducing injections should not be used in the face. These are permanent irreversible changes. These injections are unpredictable. They should only be used under the chin. If you are going to have liposuction then discuss this with your plastic surgeon. I’ve seen gross disfigurement from facial fat dissolving injections. I do not NOT recommend this treatment.
