Could someone please advice treatment for start of jowling/skin laxity? (Photo)

Hi, I've had a few consultations and don't appear to be getting anywhere. I've been recommended prohilo at one place Another suggested endy med or pdo threads. Another said endymed woukdnt give me the results I wanted and pdo threads would be better or a facelift Although I'm on the younger side for them I'm 37. I do agree the photo shadowing makes it look worse but I really want to get that v shape back and tightness. Pdo to me isn't cist effective. It would be better to get a face lift

In my opinion you best option is a facelift.You are still young however you have some signs of premature facial laxity. Threads or other skin tightening devices may improve things temporarily but wouldn't give you back a V shape. Only a facelift would do that. If this is a big concern for you now then I don't think you should wait. Things are likely to get worse in the next few years and at this stage you are likely to get a great outcome with a short scar facelift technique, and without any additional procedures.Best of luck!

Even though you are still relatively young , your laxity around the mouth and jowls is not going to be effectively addressed with filler or noninvasive skin tightening. Threads are very temporary in their benefits and long term not cost effective either.  In order to most effectively deal with your issues some form of sub SMAS facelift approach ( deep plane or extended SMAS ) is going to give the most natural and long lasting results, ( many years).

Hi, you have a few options, but facelift is the best option.  The laxity/jowls will be improved a some with threads, ultherapy, etc, but to make a noticeable difference facelift is the way to go, either SMAS or deep plane.  You are on a younger side for a facelift, but it will make a big difference in your case.

Since your photo shows lower jowl bulges including fullness along the jawline, I think that a cheek or upper facelift is appropriate.  This would firm and lift the skin and fat in your cheeks, reducing fullness in the lower cheeks, adding it to the upper cheeks, which creates the more V-shaped look you desire.  A smoother more narrow jawline results also.

There is some laxity in the jowl area, and there are early nasolabial folds. You might be a good candidate for a facelift. Because you are quite young for this procedure, I would maybe wait a few years. A thread lift is an alternative but doesn't last much longer than 3 months.
I would suggest to confirm this with your surgeon.

The only thing that would be at all worthwhile would be a facelift. But you're a bit early fir that. Those other options do nothing but waste money. So save your money and consider a facelift in about five years. I know you want something for NOW but it will be an exercise in frustration.

You should be able to get you V back with pdo threads. You can consider adding an RF modality like profound after the thread lift if more tightening is needed. In my opinion you are too young for a facelift.
