Hello. I wanted a lift, but the surgeon suggested a small implant would save scarring. I started with UK 34DD breasts, and I think he used 350cc round implants. Over time, I've gained weight. I love my curvier figure, except for my breast! They are 36G and enormous. I had c5/6 disc replacement, so for pain reasons I want them smaller. What are some good options to discuss at consultation? Will they still be too big after explant?

Answer: Breast implant removal You can elect to have the implants removed at any time. Based on your photos you will likely need a lift done as well to remove excess skin and raise the position of the nipple. I encourage you to discuss your goals for surgery with your board certified plastic surgeon, including your desired breast size. The breasts can be reduced at the time of implant removal if desired.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
