Based on your photos, a 400cc implant isn't unreasonable in one stage, however this will depend on your breast measurements. Recommended implant size is based on a variety of factors, including your body measurements, goals and skin firmness. Each patient is unique and although you may have seen others get larger implants than what your surgeon has recommended, this may have been because it was possible to do so safely.

Unfortunately it is impossible to recommend the best implant style, size or shape without an in-person examination that allows for the measurement of key breast parameters, as well as permits an in-depth discussion as to your desired goals and outcome. I would recommend continuing to discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon or seek additional consultations to ensure that the implants you decide upon are the right ones to meet your expectations. I hear this all the time- patients come to me because their original surgeon told them "300cc was all that would fit." You can definitely fit more- I suggest you keep looking!

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions of your chest wall. I also utilize Vectra 3D planning to further help with implant selection.
Based on your photos, 250cc-300cc size implant will likely give you a nice full cleavage that you desire. A 400cc breast implant will likely be too large on a small chest frame like yours, but it's difficult to tell without in person examination.
Typically, silicone breast implants are used because they offer more natural feel than saline (salt water filled) implants.
I suggest that you seek an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon in order to discuss your goals and concerns for the best cosmetic results. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

There is a possibility to make that happen, but it always depends on you tissues, the measurements, goals and more. A full consultation would be necessary and I recommend you work with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Selecting the right implant for you is based on your surgical goals combined with your physical measurements. As part of your exam your surgeon likely measured your breasts which helps determine potential implant sizes. Based on this information a recommendation was provided. A few opinions from board certified plastic surgeons are always a good idea when having surgery. Just be sure to listen openly to expert opinions and not "shop" for the one who tells you what you want to hear.

Your surgeon who has examined and measured you will be the best one to tell what maximum size implant you should have. Yes, a larger implant might be crammed in, but your breasts would would like balls and not breasts. Get a second opinion if you want, but please avoid hard balls.
