I had always been small chested, but having a baby in my late 30s and then losing the pregnancy weight in a short amount of time left me with next to no breast tissue. NOTHING fit me (dresses, bathing suits, even AA bras) and I felt self-conscious and incomplete. I underwent a simple breast augmentation in fall 2020 (modest 275 CC implants with different doctor, NOT Dr. Lacey) that went very wrong and resulted in obvious asymmetry. A few months later, I was in major discomfort following a botched revision (same doctor), and, within less than a year, had severe capsular contraction in one breast. It was a terrible experience and one of the lowest points of my life. I was convinced that I just wanted the implants out for good, even though that would have left me looking worse than before undergoing plastic surgery.
Dr. Lacey and his team turned everything around for me. He removed the original implants, got rid of all the scar tissue, outfitted me with new, slightly larger implants (295 CCs), performed an aerolar lift on one side, and a capsulorrhaphy on the other side to fix the damage done by the first surgeon. Talk about skill! The end result was soft, natural-looking and symmetrical breasts. And, most importantly,
I am no longer in pain and am able to do all the activities I was able to do pre-surgery. Throughout it all, he and his team were kind, patient, incredibly professional, and really listened to me and treated me as an individual. My one regret is that I didn't START with Dr. Lacey, as I know he would have given me the result I wanted right from the beginning, would have saved me a lot of money, and I would have avoided the awful physical side effects from a procedure gone wrong. If you're reading this, please do your homework and select a surgeon as caring and experienced as Dr. Lacey!

After 3 pregnancies, 3 c sections and breastfeeding, I was left with a tummy shelf and deflated breast.
I thought about going for these procedures and wanted to see what could be done along with the cost but wasn't sure if I would go ahead with it. After meeting with Dr Lacey in the winter of 2021, I felt confident to have the procedure done. He recommended a mini TT with a little lipo as well as 325-375 gel implants over the muscle since I had alot of breast tissue and I wanted a more natural looking silhouette and wanted to achieve a full C (was a large A, small B).
My original date was booked for the spring but due to covid, all elective surgeries we're postponed. I had my procedure done in September 2021.
My surgery date was bright and early. I was alot less nervous than I had anticipated. When I met with the Anesthesiologist and Dr Lacey, I felt even more reassured.
Waking up from my 3 hour surgery, I felt pretty good. My recovery nurse was so kind and made me feel comfortable. Dr Lacey ended up going with a 375 implant as it gave me "oumph".
Day 2 and 3 were fairly painful but taking the narcotics helped. By day 5 I felt pretty good but still followed all post op instructions.
Now 3 weeks post op, I feel great! My self confidence is priceless and I feel so sexy!

7 weeks post operation. Here I am in my bra from the before pictures. I was a 36 B and barely filled it out. I am now a 34 D and loving the results. My breasts are still quite firm but softening up. So pleased my surgeon opted to go with 375 rather than 350 ccs. Mentor high profile over the muscle. I have zero pain and have been given the okay to start back at exercising like I used to.

It's approaching the 3 month mark (next week on the 8th).
I am feeling 100% myself, working out every second day and doing my normal activities. I am sleeping no prohlem on my sides. Scar is still quite dark. Applying vitamin E oil and massaging with cream daily.

9 months post operation and feeling great! My scars are still pink/purple where my mini TT was done but breast scars are already white! I have been able to do everything and working out a few days a week.

My journey to self-confidence with Dr Lacey took a few years and two surgeries but it was 100% worth it. I had congenital abnormalities with both my breasts (bilateral assymetry, tuberous breasts) and I tried various things before going to Dr Lacey. Initially I was resistant to implants, so I had fat grafting done, which didn't work as well as I hoped, so eventually I got the proper procedure done - mastopexy. One year later and I'm still very happy with the results. The operating team and nurses super friendly and professional and answered all my questions and concerns. Recovery went smoothly and I had good follow-up with Dr Lacey. Overall, I am very grateful to him and his team for their work because now I finally feel like myself. Thank you!

And to anyone reading this who has a similar condition - I know it sounds cheesy, but there is hope. Do your research on what's best for you and make sure you choose an experienced professional. And if you decide you love your body the way it is, you have my utmost respect because you are a very strong woman.

I wanted to make sure I write about my experience with Dr. Lacey. I had liposuction to my inner/outer thighs & knees, & fat grafting to the breasts. All my life, I’ve had sattlebags even though I’m a small person. I’ve always been big at the bottom & small on the top. I took my garment off yesterday & today I put on a skinny skirt & I could only cry with joy!! My curves are all there but I just look more fit & the Sattle Bags are GONE!! I touch my legs & it feels like they’re not mine, there’s no weird fat sticking out anymore. For the first time in my life, I wore a skinny skirt & looked beautiful in it! I had nothing sticking out the sides but yet I had my buttocks sticking out as they always do & I never wanted to change that & he didn’t. He only touched masterfully what he had to touch! Nothing more & just the good amount. It’s very important in liposictionto to get the right amount out because if the surgeon takes too much,there’s no going back. I also have to say all the staff at his office are very nice & helpful. I never had a question not answered with a smile. I’m supposed to go back to touch up on my breasts which is normal for fat grafting. I will never go to any other surgeon. By the way I already had two big operations done with a very talented surgeon but I just felt like Dr. Lacey was better for me because he’s not only talented but very approachable & in my opinion that makes a huge difference! You have to feel comfortable with the person that is doing these life changing procedures. I have been to a few different surgeons & I never had a better experience than with dr.Lacey.

Kanata Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery - Today I had juviderm lip filler done. I do half a syringe rather than a full. I find a full too much. I like a subtle plumper lip, not duck lips. Elena is the injectable nurse. She is wonderful! She took plenty of time to ask questions about my expectations, what I liked and disliked. After that we came up with a plan. As usual, I am extremely happy with the results.

By far the best service and most professional in the Ottawa area!
I visit regularly for Dysport (Botox) and filler, and the occasional peel. There is never any pressure to do more than you are comfortable with. At this clinic, patients/customer service comes first.
The location is beautiful (in a beautifully redone stone building) with a professional and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are wonderful and ensure that you are comfortable from the time you checkin, have your treatments and checkout. Pricing is very competitive and service is top notch. I would highly recommend this clinic to anybody considering cosmetic surgery or treatments. I am certain that Dr Lacey and his team will exceed your expectations. They certainly have exceeded mine.

I have tried both Botox and Dysport. My personal preference is Dysport. For me Dysport lasts longer and it starts working right away.
I have tried from 25-45 units. My preference is 25 at the brow and forehead. I’m not a fan of eyes/crows feet getting done, although I have tried. I am aging and I accept that, I like to show expression on my face. With the crows feet done, it help to stop aging but I didn’t like the frozen feeling of my face.
It was great to try and as I continue to age, I may try again.
I trust Kanata Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery to do a great job. They never let me down.

I was an A cup and felt ridiculous, ashamed and lacked confidence as I didn’t feel feminine. After procedure, I immediately felt amazing! I am thrilled with my results!
After my husband left I felt like I was reborn after a very difficult and emotionally abusive marriage. I decided I would focus on myself and undergo breast augmentation as was always a dream of mine to feel feminine, fit properly in bikinis and dresses and actually be able to buy nice bras and lingerie. I am 2 days post operative and I must say the pain is minimal! I was anticipating the worst. I am following all instructions and getting plenty of rest. Don't be afraid to ask for help! If you have wonderful family like I do they will go above and beyond! Dr Lacey and his team were absolutely amazing from beginning to end ???? I return to see Dr Lacey on the 27th of December to have my drains removed and will get to see my new Tummy ! I am so excited! The feeling I have is indescribable! I will post more pictures next week !

Had my Tummy Tuck done and I am a week and a half post op, I am still sore but that is to be expected. Listen to your body and rest, get all the help you are offered! And sleep ! Follow all instructions! My drains were taken out today ! My swelling is normal , however looking forward to all end results in a few months. I had Dysport injections and I love the results! My crows feet and frown are much softer but I still look natural just as Dr Lacey assured me that I would. He was very careful to listen to the fact that I did not want my face to look frozen. His nurse, Cathy did my injection and she is amazing. I was so nervous and she made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed my visit to the clinic and meeting the staff. This is a very professionally run clinic.

I had my stomach fixed after my two children were born and it is the best decision I have made for myself. I hadn't changed weight after my pregnancies but my stomach looked terrible. I had loose and sagging skin on my tummy and no amount of working out could change the appearance. I felt self conscious to the point where I would have anxiety about wearing a bathing suit. I met with Dr Lacey to discuss the procedure. I immediately felt like he understood me and my concerns. He was so patient with my many, many questions and the fact that I needed to see him for a number of consultations before I could make up my mind. He explained that scar to me in great detail, in fact he even drew it for me so I could really get a sense of how big it was going to be. I went through with the surgery and it was just as he described. Unfortunately I had a fairly serious complication and needed a second surgery to correct it. Again Dr Lacey was so invested in my outcome. I knew there could be complications as they were described to me in detail. We followed his plan to deal with the issue and he was able to correct it. It was not due to his lack of skill because there is absolutely no question about that but rather just the unlucky way my body healed. This is the real fact of surgery that there are complications but Dr Lacey was the consummate professional and he dealt with the situation. Today I am healed and my stomach looks great. I am confident and happy when I wear a bikini and I am grateful to have had the privilege to have had Dr Lacey perform my tummy tuck!
