Will 375cc moderate plus too big for me?

Question

Body type: Slim Weight: 109 Height: 5'1" Surgeon recommends: 300cc, moderate plus implant, under the muscle and through the nipple. My desired surgery results are: full breast with great cleavage- even without a bra but I don't want to end up with a "uni-boob". I want something that looks natural but also has a subtle implant look about them to stand out.

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Implant selection is ideally done in person after an evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon. Measurements of your breast width, soft tissue thickness and skin laxity will need to be considered before selecting an implant. I hope this helps.

Unfortunately it is impossible to recommend the best implant style, size or shape without an in-person examination that allows for the measurement of key breast parameters, as well as permits an in-depth discussion as to your desired goals and outcome. I would recommend continuing to discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon or seek additional consultations to ensure that the implants you decide upon are the right ones to meet your expectations. Thank you for the question. 
Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions of your chest wall. I also utilize Vectra 3D planning to further help with implant selection. 
It's difficult to tell without seeing your photos, but typically 350-400cc range size implant will likely give you a nice full cleavage that you desire.
Typically, silicone breast implants are used because they offer more natural feel than saline (salt water filled) implants.
I suggest that you seek an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon in order to discuss your goals and concerns for the best cosmetic results. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

A full consultation with Board Certified Plastic Surgeon is recommended.  That way your tissues can be assessed along with your measurements.  These will be applied to your goals to determine if you are a good candidate.

Selecting the correct implant for you is a detailed process.  Besides volume you must also consider type, shape, profile, and approach.  During your consultation your surgeon will take measurements of your breasts.  This information is combined with your goals for surgery in order to come up with recommendations.  Many surgeons have sample implants you can "try on" to give you an idea of how you may look after surgery. You didn't mention your current or desired cup size.  The implants you are considering will result in an increase of 2+ cup sizes.

Hi and welcome to our forum!Breast implant size is a lot more than just volume. One must consider the diameter of the breast, the desired volume and the desired projection. Breast implants come in a range of sizes for each category in increments of 25 cc or so. You may require a second preoperative evaluation by your plastic surgeon to ensure you are on the same page.
