2 year post revision swelling - how can this will be reduced? (Photo)

Question

2 year after revision lots of swelling to supratip area persists and fluctuating, will this ever improve? My surgeon is willing to give me a final third operation to fix this and also to the inverted V to one side by using septal cartilage. How can reducing the swelling be done through surgery? Is it wise to try again? They are against steroid injections. Any help and advice appreciated, thank you

Though you may have some persistent swelling 2 years after a revision rhinoplasty surgery, it should not be a great deal. You are looking at something close to your final result. Sometimes a permanent non-surgical nose job may be an option for filling in indentations along the bridge, however, it's difficult to make a call based on the photos that you posted. Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a revision rhinoplasty with nasal tip deprojection in addition to reduction of the supratip. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
