Hi, I've an internal nasal valve collapse. Few doctors has adviced me to get a lateral wall own rib cartilage implant. I'm very active on contact sports and especially on soccer. I've been wondering if I will be able to play the same as before. After 6/12 months of recovery, what would happen if I get hit on the face from a ball? Can it damage the implants?

Hi, It is better for you to consult with your facial plastic surgeon who can examine you and give you opinion based on examination. If you are not happy with the result it can be removed and fixed otherwise no harm of keeping Gortex in.
We can camouflage visible cartilage with Silikon-1000 injections, however, I am concerned that this may lead to a wider nasal tip appearance. If this is a small piece of cartilage that is poking out, potentially it may be removable in a minimally invasive fashion, depending on your examination,...
A revision rhinoplasty can certainly address the issues you discuss. A graft can be placed on the bridge to remove the curve, and a septal extender with plumping grafts can give more columellar show. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.
