I had 1ml Revolax fillers today in a clinic that had rave reviews and even my friends had been there but none of them experienced this amount of bruising and I’m really worried. I sent a picture to the lady that did the injections and she replied saying that it was ‘normal’ but I can’t help but feel really concerned

Answer: Is This Normal Bruising After Lip Injections? The short answer to your question is YES.Bruising after lip filler injections is very common, and in fact, it's rare to get no bruising at all.If you were my patient and you got this type of bruising, I would have you put 50% DMSO on your bruise every 2 hours. The DMSO opens extra blood vessels in your lip which will allow more white blood cells to come to that area and carry away the free hemoglobin pigment which makes up the visual portion of your bruise. It also is a fantastic anti-inflammatory, therefore taking away much of the swelling. Normally, without any topical intervention, these bruises and swollen areas will resolve in about 10 days.

Answer: Bruising after lip fillers Hello Yes, bruising is very common after lip fillers and can look dramatic. Patients nor doctors like this but unfortunately in an area so vascular can be hard to avoid. Plenty of ice and time should do the trick. Arnica is also helpful. Try to avoid aspirin and similar products also.
