Many thanks for your question. It is too hard to say without seeing a photo and discussing your goals. You can use less than 1ml but equally you may need more than 1ml also. I would advise speaking with your injector about your goals and going from there.

You are best to avoid Botox during pregnancy as we don’t really know the full effects on the baby. It’s likely to be ok but for future I would wait until you’ve stopped breastfeeding/delivery.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had problems following your Botox treatment. This is not a usual reaction to Botox at all. If you’re having difficulties breathing you need to see a doctor ASAP preferably in the emergency rooms. I would also get in touch with your injector if possible to find out more details and inform them of what has happened.

I don’t know if any contraindications to having Botox following the shingles vaccine. If you want to be doubly safe you could always wait an extra week and discuss with your local injector.

I think your lips look good. However it’s so personal so if you’re not happy don’t hesitate to get back in contact with your injector. They can add more or dissolve the filler if you’re not happy.
