I used a Groupon at a Chiropractor's salon in LA. The clinician treated the area across my face that includes part of the forehead and crows feet. Everything I have read says treatment should last 40-ish minutes and be of several passes. After 10 minutes, I was done. After 6 weeks there is no effect. I understand I still may not notice an effect until later, but I just feel like I was not given the full treatment. Am I wrong? The treatment cost $400 and the equipment was authentic Ulthera
Answer: No Surprise That's what you get for buying a Groupon. Ultherapy is an expensive treatment to administer, therefore, there is no way a practice could possibly make money charging $400 unless you cut corners. A standard Full Face Ultherapy treatment consists of two passes and takes at least an hour, if not more. Reputable practices charge $2500-$3500 for a full face treatment. It can take up to 6 months to see results, so let's hope you at least see some benefit by that time. Otherwise, I would recommend you seek out experienced physician providers for your treatments. Best wishes.

Answer: Ultherapy for the whole face takes 30 - 60 minutes I could treat a forehead and crows feet with Ultherapy in ten minutes possibly but if I were treating a whole face in that time it would be considered subtherapeutic. Even if I used only one depth transducer instead of both the 4.5mm. and 3 mm. transducers, I still couldn't treat a whole face in 10 minutes.I want my patients to obtain a good result and Ultherapy works well but not for every patient and I want to be sure if my patient invests in a treatment that I do my best for them. That usually correlates with a significant number of lines of treatment depending on their skin's condition. The information provided in Dr. Shelton's answer is for educational purposes only and is not intended to constitute medical advice. Answer: Ultherapy treatment and results--add lasers, RF, Sculptra, microneedling/prp, J Plasma, Nova threads A full face treatment with the Amplify protocol is minimum 800 lines. During a full face lifting treatment, some of the lines are placed at 3.0 mm and some are at 4.5 mm. If you're concerned about your treatment, I recommend following up with your Doctor. Ultherapy is a great device for skin tightening, but keep in mind, a combination approach would give the most improvement with Ultherapy. I recommend Ultherapy with RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, J Plasma, nova threads or sculptra to get increased collagen, tightening and improve skin tone. Cost will vary. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Groupon Ultherapy on Groupon is another issue that we deal all the time. Groupon takes 50% (FIFTY) of the proceeds, so the Chiropractor's clinic (that is something new) got only $200. Honestly $2 per line is the absolute minimum for Ultherapy procedure, so at best you got the 100 lines, which can be done in about 15 minutes. So here is all the simple math. 100 lines for any area is not enough and therefore you don't see any result. We only offer the complete procedures according to the Merz protocol and with that we offer full 365 money back guarantee. Full face procedure is $2200
