Thank you for your question. Typically results from Ultherapy appear gradually over two to three months and improvements can continue up to six months after treatment. You can re-treat someone at six months for improvement of results, but if happy with the results, you can have it done every year to year and a half. Depending on where your treatment of Ultherapy is would help decide timing of Botox/fillers as well.
In our practice we typically see patients for a three month and a six month follow up after having the treatment. Most results are seen by 6 months and the procedure can be performed again at that time. I would consult with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon to see if this is your best option. Best of luck!
Most people need to repeat Ultherapy at least once a year to maintain results. Those with more laxity may need to do a repeat treatment sooner. In these cases, I usually repeat the treatment around 6 months after. I usually do the Botox and Fillers 2 weeks after Ultherapy. Make sure you see an experienced physician for an in-person consultation and evaluation to determine if Ultherapy is the most appropriate treatment for you. Best wishes.
Yes, you can have an additional Ultherapy treatment. However, for non-invasive options like ultherapy, a combination approach would give the improvement. I recommend Ultherapy, J Plasma, Nova Threads, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP to provide skin tightening and lift. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert to go over the recommended timeline. Best, Dr. Emer
You can repeat Ultherapy, it is advised to wait for up to 6 months as you can continue to get more lift and tightening during that time. Your practitioner will advise if a second treatment is required. I often combine Ultherapy with Botulinum toxin and fillers in order to achieve best results. I usually place toxin in the upper face and sometimes the jawline and neck muscles at the time of the Ultherapy treatment and then commence the fillers about 4 weeks later.
Although patients may see an initial result from ultherapy, the ultimate results will take place over 2-3 months after treatment. Generally you must wait 6 months to have another treatment done. Many patients combine ultherapy with a procedure called silhouette instalift to yield better results. Silhouette instalift provides immediate lifting of the mid face area and gradual regeneration of collagen to add volume. The results get better over time.
Depending on the individual patient, additional Ultherapy may be beneficial. I typically have patients return in 6 months to consider repeat treatment for added benefit. I also add other treatments for more instant results such as Silhouette InstaLift, radiofrequency microneedling, and fillers. Consult with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist.
How long ago have you had your Ultherapy procedure done? What Area did you do? Do you know how many "lines" have been done? With all that information, I would be able to give you a better idea on a timeframe for the results. For your second question, for the best results, you can do botox and fillers next day AFTER the procedure.
