Botox worked immediately! Is it normal that it works this fast?

Yes I have seen it happen.  It is not often, but certain patients have immediate results like yourself.  Most patients we inject it does take a few days to perhaps up to 7 days before the muscle is paralyzed.Hope that helps.

It is unusual for Botox to work within a few hours, but not unheard of. Everybody reacts differently. As long as you are happy with your results, you shouldn't worry. The effects should last up to 3 to 4 months. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist for your Botox treatments.

The effects of Botox normally take 3 to 4 days. Considering the limited amount of Botox that you received for these 2 areas (15 units), you should be happy with your results!

It is unusual for the Botox to work so quickly.  Typically it takes 3-5 days for the Botox to work.  However, because of your age and your wrinkles in the frown is mild you probably saw it working more quickly.  That is good for you!

Botox,  Dysport and Xeomin are the three FDA approved neuromodulators.  For the most part these injections take 4-10 days to kick in.   However,  my experience has been that in some cases and particularly with Xeomin you can start seeing results in as little as one or two days.  Anecdotally, we've seen that patients who use these neuromodulators regularly respond faster than those that don't.  My take on it is use the product at a frequency that's right for you to minimize wrinkles.  Every person is slightly different.   The idea is long term Botox and it's likes can soften your appearance when used correctly over a long period of time.

Thank you for your inquiry. Botox typically starts working within 2 - 3 days and a maximum effect after 2 weeks. If you are seeing results within  only ten hours, this is okay and should be no cause for concern. Ask long as you are happy with your results.
