Can botox be used for buttocks tightening? I have noticed that when I tighten the skin on buttocks then cellulite disappears.

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, BOTOX® won't have a tightening effect on your butt or help to get rid of cellulite. That's because it works to smooth away wrinkles by temporarily relaxing the muscle contractions that cause them. Instead, you might want to look into a Sculptra® butt lift. Sculptra® is a different type of injectable that works by stimulating collagen production, which can help to have a subtle tightening and lifting effect. Just make sure you're working with an experienced cosmetic surgeon. Good luck!

In short, no, botox is used to relax the muscles rather than tighten them. However, there are other procedures such as the Brazilian Butt Lift which may be able to accomplish what you’re looking for.

No. Botox won't work on cellulite. It only freezes the muscles. It doesn't tighten them. There are non-surgical options for treating cellulite such as Cellfina. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question.  Unfortunately, Botox is not effective for tightening the buttocks - it is a neuromodulator that works to relax muscle movement, and has no impact on skin laxity or cellulite.  There are a variety of surgical and nonsurgical options that can be used to improve the appearance of the buttocks - I would recommend scheduling a consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns.  Best of luck!

Botox only relaxes muscles not tighten them so this would not work. There are many ways to get the result you may want from surgery to lipotransfer so see a plastic surgeon for a consultation
