I am 31 years old and I got 27 units of Botox for the first time to my forehead and my frown lines yesterday. How long does it take to see results? Thank you!

Most patients will begin to see changes in the way your face animates and softening of your fine lines and wrinkles as soon as 72-96 hours after Botox administration. Patients will see the full effect of Botox by 2 weeks after being injected.

Botox results may be evident as soon as 48 hours after injection. However, full results are evident by 14 days.

Botox typically start working within 24-48 hours. Full results are acquired at 2 weeks. If you still see movement at 2 weeks you should make a follow up appointment with your Plastic Surgeon.

Botox will gradually take effect in the areas in was injected. Some patients start seeing results in early as 3 days, others will take up to 14 days. When I inject Botox in a patient for the first time, I have them return in 1 month so I can see the results. I sometimes have to adjust the units depending on the strength of the patients muscles.
