Costs of the breast augmentation procedure will certainly vary depending on your location. Things to factor in for the surgery standpoint will be the facility fee, anesthesia fee, surgeon fee, implant cost (saline vs. silicone, other fees (e.g., acellular dermal matrix cost, pain pump, surgical garment, etc.) Typically augmentation with saline implants will be ~$1000 less than with silicone implants. Consultation with a plastic surgeon on the procedure along with quotes is advised, but a range of $4000-9000 is reasonable depending on the factors above. Hope these answers help!

I recommend that you first, seek out board certified Plastic Surgeon's who's results appeal to you and inquire about their pricing, then line up a few in-person consultations. You will want to ask important questions about the overall cost, pre and post op care, safety, etc. I don't recommend that you choose your surgeon based on price alone.All the best

Thanks for the post and good luck as you start the process!  The cost of a breast augmentation varies based on several factors including geography (some cities are more expensive than others), surgeon (some surgeons charge fees higher than others based on experience, etc), implants (silicone more expensive than saline), and anesthesia and facility costs.  In general you can expect costs to start around $5000 and go up from there depending on the above factors.

The price varies by geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length of procedure etc.  I would recommend you go to The American Society of Plastic Surgery website and look for board certified plastic surgeons in your area.  You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotes before scheduling your consultations.

It is important to meet with several Board Certified Plastic Surgeons in your area to determine your level of comfort with the doctor as well as their price. Ask if the price includes implants, operating room costs, anesthesia costs, and surgeon's fees.  Your surgeon should also select the size of your implants based on your measurements and tissues, not a random number.I hope this information helps.

I encourage you to make sure your surgeon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and that that person is someone you would trust after meeting with them at your consultation.
