Answer: Hair growth after eyebrow transplant I couldn't agree more with what was previously stated. It is of utmost importance that the sites are made at the correct angles and the grafts are placed at the correct angles as well. This is why you need to ensure that you are going to someone experienced in transplants and is comfortable with the amount of single grafts being used, as well as with the angle of placement. Your best bet right now is to contact your doc and have them examine you. An in person evaluation is necessary to determine a possible solution as you may need some minor tweaking. Best of luck.

Answer: Hair pattern Unfortunately it sounds like the practice you went to may not have placed the new hairs in the correct fashion. Eyebrow restoration takes considerable skill, and graft placement with proper angles is crucial. If it is really unacceptable you may need to consider laser hair removal and revision. Best, Dr. rome

Answer: Eyebrow Transplant is an art and the #1 issue is what you are describing with hairs sticking out everywhere I have taught a course in hair transplant now for 9 years and teach on eyebrow hair transplant and will be giving this talk next week. I always advocate to my students that it is the most difficult procedure to master and they should not even start thinking about doing it for at least many years after starting a hair practice. Even though I make my recipient sites very flat and my staff work to make sure every hair curl (the natural curvature of the graft) aims downward, my grafts can still be upward displaced even by a few degrees. What I do is I have all my patients at a week to wear a gentle ACE wrap at night for a month and then I have them do this again for several weeks when the hairs start to grow in. There is a chance that this technique can help you if you catch it early enough. During the day you may also try mustache wax to control them. If they really look bad, they should all be removed by plucking or electrolysis and the procedure redone. Unfortunately, I have had to fix too many of these cases.

Answer: Eyebrow hairs grow in all directions You should go back and see your surgeon and show him that you are unhappy with the growth direction of the eyebrows as the direction was contolled by the surgeon who placed them
