How long does it take for swelling to reduce after an eyebrow transplant? (Photos)

Question

I had my eyebrow transplant 2 days ago. During and immediately after the procedure my top eyelid and lower eye sack swelled significantly. Now the top eyelid is darker in colour but flatter and the lower eye sack is extremely swollen. Is there a process in how swelling around eyes recovers? If so what is it? How long will it take to clear?

Typically after an eyebrow transplant there is significant swelling and bruising around both eyes for approximately 4 to 5 days. Some individuals have slightly less swelling and bruising and some slightly more, but this is the average.

Typically maximum swelling occurs 48-72 hours following injury or procedure but this can be longer.Your swelling may get a little worse before it gets better but I suspect it will be gone by about a week.

Usually, when swelling after eyebrow transplant occur, it goes away in 3-4 days.  Sometimes there is discoloration and if this happens, the yellow might persist up to a week
