How long does it take for swelling to reduce after an eyebrow transplant? (Photos)

Typically after an eyebrow transplant there is significant swelling and bruising around both eyes for approximately 4 to 5 days. Some individuals have slightly less swelling and bruising and some slightly more, but this is the average.

Typically maximum swelling occurs 48-72 hours following injury or procedure but this can be longer.Your swelling may get a little worse before it gets better but I suspect it will be gone by about a week.

Swelling should usually go down at most 4-6 days following the procedure. If it lasts any longer or doesn't seem to be fading contact your doctor.

Usually, when swelling after eyebrow transplant occur, it goes away in 3-4 days.  Sometimes there is discoloration and if this happens, the yellow might persist up to a week

Swelling is expected and completely normal after any hair transplant surgery. Typically it will spike at around day 3 and be gone by day 5.
