Using an eyebrows pencil after eyebrows transplant?

Question

How long after eyebrows transplant it will be possible to use eyebrows pencil for covering the skin by color until hair grows there. ? Second question: when can I use again my regular facial cream for the eyebrows area? Thanks Any answer will be appreciated.

I instruct my patients to resume normal hair care of the eyebrows after a week (7 days) after the procedure, and are encouraged to gently rub off the crusts that remain after 8 days with mild baby shampoo. The hair follicle is intact by that stage and gently rubbing will not cause the hair graft to be dislodged. After eyebrows are healed in the 3 to 4th week mark is when we instruct patients the OK for makeup.

Great question. The key is waiting until all of the crusting has fallen off from the transplanted hair. Certainly a safe bet is by two weeks you can use some eyebrow pencil.  Same thing for any face cream and moisturizer.  Like I mentioned, your body will let you know when you are ready as the crusting will have fallen off the grafts.  But by 2 weeks you should be in pretty good shape.

After two weeks post eyebrow transplant it is OK to use eyebrow pencil or powder. Regular facial cream may also be used in the eyebrow area after two weeks post procedure.

A brush is fine a couple days after, wait at least a month before using an eyebrow pencil on the area.

By 4 months after eyebrow hair transplant, you can use eyebrow pencis as everything is healed by this time, Most people can start doing this at the second weeks after the hair transplant provideing that there are no crusts present
