Answer: Washing Post-Op Day 10 We tell patients that at Day 10 if there is any crusting to gently massage in the shampoo with the tips of your fingers (not fingernails), and the crusts will easily come off. Normally we tell patients to not use Rogaine on the recipient area until two weeks after the procedure.

Answer: Washing Instructions Every Doctor has his own way for post operative care. I suggest my patients to use moisturizer started from day 4 post operative, which helps the scabs to fall off naturally. However 10 days post op all HT patients are advised to massage the transplanted area very gently with fingertips only. If you have very dry scalp, you can apply shampoo bubbles and leave it for 15 mins, then wash it or apply the moisturizer leave it over the night, and wash in the morning. On the next day the scalp should be looking perfectly clean.

Answer: How aggressive wash the hair after day 10 of FUE? You may start to wash your transplant area at second day of surgery with care and massage the transplant area gently so the scabs will fall off... After two weeks of hair transplantation it is acceptable to wash hairs as normal /preoperative period of surgery. All scabs should be cleaned with pressured (not gentle) massage to transplant area after 2 weeks .Dont forget that you may wash your head with normal pressure and if you need you can use a wet towel with soap for massage the scabby area, it Works very well to remove scabs .Patient may feel free to loosen any scabs on his/her head by massaging and that will not damage the grafts after 2 weeks .
