Blood vessels after FUE

Question

My surgeon told me not to do jogging for about 1 month after my FUE. He: "New blood vessels are not so strong during the first 3 weeks and might get destroyed if there is a constantly higher pulse rate and blood pressure. If those blood vessels get destroyed, not all of them might come back and one can loose another 10-15% of the transplanted grafts." So my question is - why has nobody of you doctors in this forum ever drew attention to that? Is my surgeon telling the truth?

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  It is normal to resume activity after a week or two.

The running or exercises or any other activity which requires force is avoided for initial one week after the surgery but after one week it is completely fine to run and exercise as it keeps your body healthy.

The grafts are very tenuous for the first week after surgery, though typically it is safe to resume exercising after that week.  However, it is always prudent to obey your surgeon's instructions as he/she will know the specific details of your procedure.
