Answer: Swelling post surgery Swelling is a normal part of wound healing. It will go down over the next few days. Regular iceing and steroid injections may ave prevented this from occurring.

Answer: avoid the swelling post-surgery It is seen with a lots of patients even when steroids are given to avoid the swelling post-surgery but it is completely harmless and usual thing to happen which disappears after a few days.

Answer: Swelling after surgery You don't say when you had your surgery. Some patients do develop swelling in the lower forehead and around the eyes 2-3 days after surgery. It is harmless and resolves on its own. Steroids given at the time of surgery can help prevent the swelling but some times it occurs regardless.
