Dr. Ben Talei is the GOAT! I am a physician and did extensive research prior to undergoing surgery. I had an Auralyft and Cupid in May of 2024. Love the result and healing was easy. Dr. Talei has LEAD the way back to a natural youthful appearance and is teaching his peers to do the same. I receive compliments daily on how healthy and youthful I appear. Spent my time finding just the right fit for me for a lip lift and I am thrilled with the results. There are less expensive doctors and more expensive but I wanted the doctor who I felt had the best results and the most experience. Great aftercare and support and I would highly recommend.

Dr. Talei is an amazing surgeon and person. I am so happy with my results and the entire process. From the moment I met with him I knew he would be the only one I would trust with my face, his attention to detail is like no other. It is so comforting knowing you do not need to worry because he will make sure everything is perfect. Dr. Hedeyh his fellow at the time was wonderful and there to answer any question at anytime day or night weekday or weekend. The entire staff from Esther to Olivia was nothing short of Amazing. I am so grateful to all of them.

Only 2.5 wks post surgery. Incision hardly noticeable and healing nicely. Lips look subtle and beautiful. The only issues remaining is the swelling in nose(nose looks huge!), and the lip stiffness that affect mobility like smiling and talking normally. Haven’t kissed my boyfriend other than a peck. Looking forward to the swelling going down and nose going back to normal. Again, it’s only been 2.5 wks and they said it takes 3 mos to be “picture perfect” but I’m going out and about and had a dinner date with my boyfriend last night. The procedure itself was painless and the Dr is very gentle with graceful hands. I assume he plays the piano based on how he moves his hands. I believe this is why his sutures are so perfect! Days 1-3 were quite swollen and I looked a mess. Didn’t leave the hotel room. Day 4 I started getting out and about but wore a mask. By day 8 I was fine going out in public. The swelling has gone down immensely which is likely why my nose is standing out so much as it’s the last to heal. It does throw me off when I look in the mirror because a swollen nose affects the entire balance, but I have been contouring the heck out of it for now. The swelling is worse in the mornings but calms down by lunch time. I ordered some lymphatic drainage drops to see if that helps! Other than that, I am quite pleased already. Will update as time goes on.

I am not a celebrity, social media influencer, or even close to being someone in the limelight, so I was a little intimidated to contact Dr. Talei’s office in Beverly Hills. I first learned about Dr. Talei when my dermatologist highly recommended him for facial rejuvenation, so I began following him on InstaGram. After watching his countless Wednesday Lesson-of-the-Day videos and pouring over all the before/after photos on his website that showed the same angles, in the same lighting, capturing the same, impressive results, I knew he was the surgeon I could trust to give me very predictable results. During my consultation, surgery day, post-surgery visit, and 3-month follow-up, Dr. Talei and his staff were always thorough in answering all of my questions and explaining the process. Olivia, Surgery Coordinator, apprised me of each step and was very communicative (even after hours). Esther, Director of Nursing, was very attentive to every medical need (and so sweet and kind). My results are amazing. The Auralyft has left me looking and feeling younger. People know I’ve done something, but can’t tell exactly what because the results are so natural. I truly appreciate Dr. Talei’s impressive skills and vast knowledge. I will definitely be a returning patient.

I started saving for a facelift 30 years ago… no kidding… I just knew I would want my face to reflect the inner me when I got older. Well, that day came and I started my search for the surgeon I would feel most comfortable putting my face into his/her hands! The deep plane technique is genius and quite obviously the only way to go… addressing the underlying muscle(s) and not simply tightening the skin. That narrowed my search, plus I knew I needed to go to the ‘mecca’… Beverly Hills!! Dr. Talei was at the top of my list of three and during my consultation with him, I felt the ‘Aha’ moment… he was, The One. He came right to the point of the procedures he would do with such confidence & conviction — it was very reassuring. His staff is happy and attentive and even the After Care nurses could tell I had seen him by the lack of obvious incision sites & the perfect line on my eyelid lift. I live four states away, but Dr. Talei made no issue of FaceTiming me for questions I have/had.

For several years my upper cheek area and eyes had begun to droop from aging and loss of fat. I'm 61 years old. My neck is long and my chin and jaw strong, but age had created a chicken neck and sag in the jaw line. My face is thin or without much fat, and athletic which I read can be a challenge for facial rejuvenation. Dr. Talei has practiced and mastered both maxillofacial and plastic surgery, and understands the underlying support structure in the face and neck. This is one reason I chose to consult with him. Dr. Talei's ideas for my face included the deep plane or "Aural lift", corner lip lift and rejuvenation, fat injections in several areas of my face, plumbing my ear lobes, and C02 laser where necessary. The recovery after surgery was only difficult in that swallowing is tough with the neck work for about 24 hours. Otherwise, I didn't take pain meds, and after a few days had very little bruising. Following the instructions from Dr. Talei's team, and using the kit with special creams, I healed quickly. There were many follow-up appointments after surgery where a hyperbaric chamber and LED light bed help the healing process, and where Dr. Talei or Esther and Jennifer used lasers, filler, botox to make subtle adjustments in the results. All of these follow-up appointments were included in the original price. Posted are photos that I took before the surgery, and photos Dr. Talei took morning of the surgery and then 4 months later. Now, 6 months after surgery, my face is still changing. There are absolutely zero scars visible and weren't visible even after a week. Dr. Talei is famous for his suturing and little or no scaring. I am a fast healer, so your healing may take longer. There is still numbness at 6 months in my cheeks which may be normal for a thin face. Sometimes the facial nerve can be affected. The cheeks don't move like they used to in the Apple area of the cheek. There is an impression that shows up when I smile, but I'm hoping that this will disappear as the nerves regenerate. A appointment is scheduled to discuss this with Dr. Talei, and Dr. Talei's office has always been available to discuss or inspect any of my concerns. The wait times in the main office can be long, sometimes very long, and several times the front office called to ask if I could come in hours later or reschedule. Everything worked out for me, and I know that Dr. Talei is very talented and in demand so the office can be very busy. Just best to be aware. So, in conclusion, you can see for yourself the improvements, and that I still look like myself. I highly recommend Dr Talei for his skills, attention to the details that make a huge difference, and for his demeanor. He is approachable, and flexible and he listened. All of his staff were warm and kind and helpful as well.

I'm currently at 3 months post operation and thrilled with my results. 3 months ago I had an auralift and lip lift with corners. As far as skin goes, I did not win the genetic lottery. In my early thirties I had signs of jowls and a double chin. I tried fat freezing and many treatments of kybella for my double chin with no results. I also was tired of the over filled lip filler look. After years on looking at his work, I decided to fly out to see Dr. Talei. He was kind, patient, and honest with me. I decided to book the procedure and undergo the knife. Those 3 months of healing are serious. There were days I hated the way I looked with the swelling/scars healing. I did my best to avoid alcohol and sleep on my back. I keep telling myself that Rome wasn't built in a day and I needed to have patience. Now I look young, refreshed, and there is NO SIGN of a double chin. My scars are hardly visable and get better everyday. My lips are pouty and gorgeous. I am loving my results and SO happy I did this for myself. Updated on 16 Jun 2022: I am a thin small build girl. Weight loss wasn’t an option for me to change my appearance. Now I don’t have a double/ triple chin when I look down at my phone. This procedure was life changing. I look how I feel now, amazing! My results are so natural and my face is balanced. Dr Talei is an artist. My results are better than I ever imagined. Updated on 23 Sep 2024: I am still so happy with my decision. It was life changing for me. My results are natural and I love myself from every angle. I have one small scar I don’t love, but if I put effort into it, it would be nothing.

Originally, Dr Talei and I met to discuss a facelift for my sagging neck and hollow cheeks. My lips are full, but Dr Talei noticed the deflation of my upper lip, and irregularity that developed as I aged. He suggested a corner lip lift. The procedure was painless - Dr Talei lifted the corners of my upper lip and used fat to balance the upper and lower lip. Once the stitches were removed, no scar was visible. Dr Talei is renowned for elegant stitching and no visible scaring. Dr Talei and staff used laser, and filler for even more detailed results. I’m grateful to Dr Talei for his generosity and attention to detail. Now my lips are more even and full & less deflated, creating a youthful Profile. The photos are before, after the stitches were removed, and at 4 and 5 1/2 months after surgery. Dr Talei and his staff are available to answer questions and concerns and are dedicated to making certain the patient is pleased with the results. Some times the front office and scheduling has been disorganized, and because Dr Talei’s skills are in demand, wait times can run an hour. He has a lovely patio to wait in. Dr Talei skills are worth the wait.

I had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr Talei for a surgery I had +20 years prior as a 19 year old in Europe. Dr Talei did a fantastic job and I've been really happy with the natural results. People are very surprised to hear i've ever had surgery whatsoever, as the work just fits my face. I really appreciated Dr Talei 's, cool, relaxed, professional manner both at the consultation and during surgery. Ben is clearly a skilled, creative artist, who naturally understands what symmetry works for your face. His clinic facilities were well designed and relaxing, helping me feel really happy with the overall experience. Whilst Dr Talei might be more a little more costly than other surgeons, my advice would be he's absolutely without hesitation worth it. A few years later, i've been so happy that i've yet to go back for my final post-surgery consultation, I should probably get onto doing that!
