A cup, 168cm, 50kg - can I get 1 size increase, without having such big implants?

When it comes to breast augmentation, oftentimes your surgeon will allow you to "try on" different implant sizes prior to your procedure. They will have you place the implant within a bra, and then try on a tight fitting shirt to mimic the appearance of your breasts post-operatively. Hello, thank you for your question. If you want to be a bit bigger but not as big as the implants suggested for your chest wall frame you can consider fat transfer to the breasts. This will only increase breast size of approximately 1/2 cup size. Speak to your plastic surgeon and try on the smaller end of that implant for sizing. Choosing the implant size can be one of the hardest decisions with breast augmentation. Every plastic surgeon has their own method to pick the correct implant size with their patients. The choice of implant is determined by combining your goals for size and the appearance of the breasts with a detailed assessment of your height/weight, breast dimensions, and chest width. In your case, you can go smaller with the implants. It will generally take 150-200 cc to increase one cup size. Your surgeon may be recommending larger implants because your chest width is larger or to better correct the sagging of the breasts.

If you want one cup size enlargement, moderate profile implants in the size around 175-200 ml. would be quite sufficient. Small implant can be placed on top of the muscle with same esthetic benefit. Second opinion consultation may help. Good luck.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Implant selection is best done in person as your surgeon has had the benefit of examining you, taking your measurements, and discussing your surgical goals. You can elect to have a smaller implant with a lower profile, but it may not give you the desired result. That is where you surgeon comes in. She/He is the expert in assisting you in selecting the best implant for you. If you are uncomfortable with the recommendation it is always a good idea to get a few opinions from board certified plastic surgeons near you.

Yes, you can choose 150 up to 225 cc implants for something smaller if you do not like 240-270 cc's.

Photos and any measurements would aid immensely in accurately answering your questions. I do not see why a smaller implant may not be entertained unless you have wide cleavage or base width breast measurements.
