Tragus Stitches coming undone. Any suggestions? (photos)

Thanks for the photos.  The incision sites look well healed, it is not uncommon for rogue stitches to poke through the skin, but it is nothing to worry about.  It is best to leave and not interfere, however tempting it might be to pick and remove them yourself.  Do contact your PS, to arrange an earlier appointment.

What you are describing is a usual part of the process.  Some absorbable sutures will spit out early.  Please don't trim or pull on these yourself.  Please go to your surgeons office.  It will take some time, (months), for things to finally settle in.  Please let them know your concerns and have them check the wounds if they deem so. Please follow your board certified plastic surgeon post operative care plan.

I would recommend that you follow-up with your surgeon for an examination. If your stitches are coming out your surgeon will want to know. Those sutures may have been ready to come out or spit out on their own by your body but for reassurance that you are on track I recommend that you call or email your Plastic Surgeon with the update. Don't pull at or remove anything else in the meantime. All the best

The photo you provide does not demonstrate a problem but you should be examined by your facelift surgeon to ensure that your care is appropriate. 

See if you can advance your next appointment.  Your surgeon may need to reclose the area with sutures depending on how separated the skin flaps are.  Continue abx ointment until then. 

Without an full exam it is hard to make a diagnosis, but based on your images everything appears to be healing well. Depending on how far you are out from surgery, it is normal for the dissoluble stitches to come out. In addition, even if early, it appears your incision lines are together and healing well. Would continue the wound care that you are doing and check with your surgeon to let him know the situation.

Though the photos are not high resolution, your tragus appears to be healing normally. There is some mild erythema, but this is normal in the weeks following surgery. Sutures have a tendency to fall out after a week or two, depending on the type used. If the incision looks like it is opening, you are doing the correct treatment by keep the area covered with ointment. However, I would contact your surgeon for further management. Good luck!

In reviewing your pictures, both areas appear to be healing normally.  Stitches will begin to work themselves out after a week or two.  This is especially true if your facial plastic surgeon used dissoluble sutures.  Regardless, if you have concerns or questions, I would call your doctor and have him check it.  It would help alleviate your worry, and I am sure he would be glad to see you.I hope this helps.
