38F Hoping to find some help for my tear trough area. It is only slightly depressed but I am fair skinned so it looks dark (I don't have any allergies or melasma). Are there any ways to improve this area and plump it up without fillers? Please help!

For now most of our clients are doing at home cosmelan peels and eye rolling.  In the office fillers, thread lifting, and lasers will help you.
There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will be the best long term.  However, non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels and stem cells can all help give some improvement. I suggest. You get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals.

Under eye Restylane is very helpful. However, it is a very fussy service. The person who does the injection needs to have very good aesthetic judgment and skills to pull this off. Too much treatment is just too much. Service lasts about 1 year. If there is an issue, the enzyme hyaluronidase can modify or remove a problematic treatment.

I would recommend under eye fillers. Under eye hollowing can happen at any age and their formation is mostly due to genetics, but it can be remedied with an increase in volume under the eye. Fillers can also be easily dissolved so are a great option to try since you can always remove them if you do not like the look of them. I would recommend speaking with a dermatologist or a facial plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

Fillers are the best option to give you noticeable improvement.  Other treatments can improve skin tone and texture, but won't provide the same result.  See a board certified plastic surgeon to learn more.

Filler or autologous fat injections to this area would be the best choice.  Due to volume loss causing the darkness seen.  The great thing about filler is that it can be reversed if you don't like it.  I would try fillers first and fat for a more permanent solution.  Best of Luck!

The only things that work are surgery and filler. Surgery is the most problematic and sometimes doesn't correct this particular problem well. Filler, including fat grafting, however, works quite well. It is also problematic, however. It should be done by an expert using the right filler. Restylane is not the right one, though physicians have been using it for years. This area needs a heavy filler like Juvederm Voluma or Radiesse. It also has to be put in the right place. Your problem is from a low attachment of the muscle on the anterior surface of the bone below the orbital ligament. The filler needs to be placed to fill this and most injectors place it too superficial and too high. Besides getting better results, this technique can last significantly longer than the others (up to almost 5 years in some of my patients).
