Hello there, I am 11 days post op and I realize that this is fairly early in my healing process. I really need second opinions and advice. I have attached some photos and I am wondering if all the lumps and bumps are normal. The way that my stomach looks is really concerning me. It is so gross to look and I feel like it should have a flatter/more normal shape and texture by now. The lower belly is the most concerning part to me. Please help. I have already asked my surgeon.
Answer: Lumps and bumps after BBL/LIPO. Is this just a process of healing or should I be worried? It looks disgusting. (Photos) At 11 days following liposuction, lumps are common. Even after 6 weeks lumps are common. Massage may help, but time will be the best treatment. You may not see your long term results for at least 6 months. Much of this depends upon the extensiveness of the liposuction and the size of the area treated. Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Los Angeles, CA

Answer: BBL lumps/bumps Thank you for your question and photos. You are still in the healing stage. Recovery can take up to 4-6 weeks before you begin to look normal.

Answer: Liposuction results Dear Eclectic491, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a liposuction surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery. Answer: Liposuction Recovery Expectations Too early to assess final result. That said, visit your surgeon to make sure the area you outlined is not a seroma. For 11 days, overall you look great. Posting your "before" photos would be helpful.

Answer: Liposuction results at 11 days patients being worried about liposuction results within the first two weeks is probably the number one post on real self. Personally I tell my patients to not look in the mirror for the first 3 to 4 weeks because it only makes people upset. Sounds familiar? Nothing looks correct two weeks after liposuction. Everything is wrong for many different reasons. Whether your results will be stunning or protest cleat disfigured easier relevant at 11 days. No matter how well the procedure was done nobody looks good 11 days after liposuction. At six weeks you'll have a good idea of what your results will look like. At that point you'll have about 80% of your final results and a good sneak preview of what's to come. At two weeks things are as wrong as they can be. Things are distorted out of proportion and feel hard and lumpy. This is normal. If your doctor did not tell you this then he or she should have told you. If they did tell you the new should listen. Final results take 3 to 6 months. My experience has been that patients who are happy with the results at six weeks love the results in three months. Patients who are also not happy with the results at six weeks tend to not be happy and were either treated poorly or are simply not happy people that are discontent with many things in life.
