I got fillers done 3 weeks ago: my cheeks, lips and chin. After i got them I went to dissolve a filler under eyes. In few hours after the treatment I noticed how my cheeks, chin and lips became smaller in volume. I don't feel that volume that I had prior the dissolving. Is that possible that that injection affected all my fillers at once? The doctor who did all fillers said it could be affected because the fillers didn't settle in yet and it was too early to dissolve any. Is it true?

Answer: Did H-dase dissolve my other fillers? Thanks for posting!Hyaluronidase works locally and will not dissolve fillers at distal locations. That being said, if it was injected under your eyes, then it would theoretically break down filler in this area (depending upon the number of units placed) but should have no effect on your other fillers. I hope that helps and wish you the very best!-Gregory A Buford MD FACSBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author

Answer: Hyaluronidase As other pointed out, the hyaluronidase's effect is local, within the area of injection. The changes you may see in other areas are most likely related to progressive decrease in swelling related to filler injection. As a minor point, your lips on the last photo could accommodate a little more filler for still natural look but definitely not the look on photo #5 (most likely taken shortly after filler injection so their distortion is due to swelling). I point this out to stress that with your beautiful face only natural and not overdone lips will serve you the best. Good luck!
