Ear piercing before Breast augmentation? (photos)

Question

My breast augmentation is scheduled in three months and I am wanting to get my cartlage pierced (a double helix peircing to be exact). Will this be ok or am I risking bacteria issues before surgery

Since it is so far in advance of the surgery, you should be fine.  There is always a risk of infection with the ear piercing, and if it was actively infected at the time of augmentation, it may be a little concerning.  However, it should not be an issue by the time your augmentation happens.  All the best,

Hello, in my opinion you should be fine to have your ear pieced prior to surgery. Any significant infection that could occur, should be easily detected. A non complicated ear piercing should have no significant effect on your augmentation.

Hello Hereiamsideboob. Thanks for this question. In my opinion, 3 months is plenty of time to heal from an ear piercing before breast implants are placed.
