Hello venacruz. Thanks for your question. A burning sensation is usually attributed to nerve stretch and/or inflammation that occurs with all breast surgery. As the wounds continue to heal, you will notice less and less burning and eventually feel normal again. Best, Dr. ALDO
A burning sensation along your incision line is typically due to nerve stretch or inflammation that is simply a by product of any breast surgery. It should improve with time. If not, see your surgeon so that he or she can assess you in person. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us. it's not time enough to express a valid opinion of results. Burning sensation can be due to inflammation, talk to your plastic surgeon and follow his advices. On the other hand, generally to avoid the normal p.o. swelling, I recommend to limit the arms movement for two weeks. Also it's not advisable to carry weight and take the antiinflamatory painkillers drugs. Finally, I recommend you always use a therapeutic bra.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
