Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting is designed to reduce a designated area by a process of that causes cellular death of fat cells. Those cells are gone forever. Should you gain significant weight following your treatment, your weight gain will likely be in your areas of greatest opportunity (or areas where you have been likely to gain weight in the past). Best of luck.
Hi. Fortunately Coolsculpting permanently kills the fat cells and they are eliminated from the body just the same as after an injury, surgery, etc. There is no mechanism to "redirect" the fat cells to be deposited elsewhere. Commonly, after reducing fat in an area, an adjacent area can have the illusion of being larger (i.e. reducing the chestwall on the sides of either breast can make breasts appear more prominently). Talk to your CS specialist if you feel you have excessive swelling in a treated area. Good luck!
That's a GREAT question! Previous studies have indicated that over one-third of the women who have liposuction experience increased breast size, however, new studies conflict with this information. The liposuction removes fat in the area that it being specifically treated, similar to what CoolSculpting does. My opinion is that it varies from woman to woman and may be impacted by post-liposuction weight gain.
No, CoolSculpting will just change your shape due to freezing and eliminated the fat cells in the treated areas. These fat cells are eliminated over time by your body's natural elimination process, and cannot be extracted (such as with liposuction) to be injected or redirected to the breasts.
Fortunately no. The destroyed fat cells are collected by the lymphatic system and removed from the body in the form of waste.
Thank you for your question. Since Coolsculpting destroys the fat cells treated, they cannot not be redirected to your breast tissue as they no longer exist. If you do notice your breasts becoming larger after Coolsculpting it is most likely due to weight gain or is hormone related.
Coolsculpting is an effective treatment for removing stubborn areas of fat, but will not direct fat towards the breast area. CoolSculpting is a great option, because it is non-invasive with little to no down-time. Most patients opt to get re-treatments in the same area for maximum results of up to 40-50% fat cell reduction. I suggest researching both your surgical and non-surgical options, along with scheduling an in-person consultation with a physician so you can be evaluated and given recommendations.
Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting will reduce areas of pinchable fat, but will not cause an increase of fat in the breasts. With Coolsculpting, there is no down time, no risk of infection and you can achieve up to a 40% reduction with a retreatment of the same area. You'll need to have a consultation to determine how many treatments is recommended to get your desired results. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a Coolsculpting-certified practitioner. All the best, Dr. Dr. Aggarwal
CoolSculpting does reduce fat in the targeted areas. However, the fat will not automatically get redirected to the breasts. You may benefit from an implant or breast lift if you are considering more volume. Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to learn more options about breast augmentation.
