I am 24 years old, go to the gym 3 times per week and have a moderately active career. I make smart food choices and exercise but I can't seem to be rid of this fat on my abdomen/bra bulge. What procedure has the shortest recovery period while still removing a decent amount of fat? I have tried coolsculpting and it had no effect.
Answer: No results from CoolSculpting It can take more than one CoolSculpting treatment to obtain the desired amount of fat reduction. It also takes at least 12 weeks to see the result from a treatment. If you have only had one CoolSculpting treatment, I would consider treating the area again. If you have already had several CoolSculpting procedures done, you could consider a different type of treatment, such as SculpSure.

Answer: Things to consider How long ago did you have a Coolsculpting procedure? It can take up to two months to see the full effects of coolsculpting. If it had no effect, it would be worth considering the source of your procedure. Coolscultping addresses the fat that rests between your skin and muscles (fat that can be pinched) also known as subcutaneous fat. Unfortunately it cannot address any fat that exists under the muscle, called visceral fat, so it really depends on where the fat is located on your upper body. It would be best to seek advice by consulting a board certified plastic surgeon, with coolsculpting in their practice, who can provide you specific recommendations for your situation, Best of luck!

Answer: Liposuction hello. Liposuction is a great option. There is little downtime and quick recovery. Bruising and swelling will take some time but usually patients return to work in less than a week. Good luck

Answer: Coolsculpting for fat reduction It is not unusual to need more than one application to a particular area to see the results you are looking for with coolsculpting . It is important to maintain your weight or lose weight if possible to see your best results . Without photos it is difficult to comment on your results . I often tell patients to concentrate on one area and get the results they are interested in achieving before moving on to another area especially if finances are a considerable issue . Seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your expectations ,concerns, and options, such as liposuction .

Answer: Coolsculpting Candidates Hi there! Sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your coolsculpting experience. I do wonder if you had an adequate amount of cycles and treatments. There is always a very small chance of anyone not responding as well to one treatment or another. But often, after we get a patients detailed history, we discover they were not treated as we may have suggested. It sounds like you are a good candidate, but without pics and an in person consult, hard to say for sure. In our office, coolsculpting is our treatment of choice for non-surgical fat reduction. Best of Luck! Dr. Grant Stevens
