I had my initial surgery 4.5 months ago. Since the swelling has gone down, my initial concerns were confirmed after taking some after photos in the doctors office. It seems as though the doctor was very aggressive, and my tip is upturned, and my columella is retracted. Is this something that is easily fixed with a revision?

Hello! Thank you for your question.From the photos you provided, your dorsum looks great but as you said the tip is a little high (I wouldn't say it is really upturned). Your alar base and columella are on the same level, which gives you the illusion that the tip is upturned. If you want a correction on the tip, I can recommend you a revision rhinoplasty surgery to make it a little lower and work better on the nostrils (they're uneven).

With a revision the tip could be setback some which would allow more columellar show, and lengthening of the nose and a more natural appearance on profile.  You will need to wait a full year.  Revision surgery is more demanding than primary rhinoplasty.  Seek more than one opinion and make sure the surgeon is experienced with revisions.
