58 y/o female with the dreaded droop going on! Please help me figure out my best options going forward. Considering both Non-surgical and surgical techniques, recovery times, anesthesia requirements, etc. This is a daunting process but I really dislike what I am seeing! Thank you.
Answer: Options Hello, hope you are doing well. The surgical option for lower face and neck rejuvenation is a face and neck lift. You appear to have good skin quality, but moderate jowling and central fullness in the neck with a poorly defined cervicomental angle (this can be from a variety of issues, difficult to say precisely base on photos). I can't fully appreciate your midface with the photos being cropped, but I typically offer a modified or extended deep plane facelift depending on the position of the fat pads in the midface. There are many technical variations, and your surgeon can choose the most appropriate facelift technique based on your specific concerns and anatomy. I often offer lip lift (with or without augmentation) with facelift for a comprehensive rejuvenation plan. The non-surgical technique to consider is radiofrequency treatment (e.g. FaceTite). The major differences (surgical vs. non-surgical) are: recovery measured in weeks vs days, general vs local anesthesia, and how impactful the treatments are. Cheers,Dr. Tower

Answer: It's time for that Advanced Mini Face/Neck Lift under local. Getting a great face/neck lift under local is so easy and with dramatic natural results. Be sure to get Morpheus/TCA medium peel at the same time for the face, neck and chest so it all looks amazing.

Answer: A lower facelift is a procedure I use to address sagging along the jawline and cheeks. A lower facelift is a procedure I use to address sagging along the jawline and cheeks. It involves removing excess skin and fat, tightening the underlying muscles, and re-draping the skin for a rejuvenated appearance. I typically employ the deep plane technique to achieve more natural and lasting results. A necklift, on the other hand, targets sagging and excess skin in the neck area, including under the chin and the front of the neck, to create a tighter, more youthful look. Both procedures are performed under general anesthesia, and the recovery period usually spans a few weeks. To determine the best option for you, I will need to conduct a thorough examination and assessment.

Answer: Facial Rejuvenation Options The best option would be surgical and in a nutshell- it would contour your lower face and neck and elevate your midface. it would give you a more youthful heartshape features. The surgery takes about 2-3 hrs and requires about a 10-14 day initial recovery period. Other options, that will not give you the same result- is threading, fillers, skin tightening devices, however, you really need to have an in person consultation to discuss all these available options. The non surgical options would not give you the same improvement and would not last as long, however, they are less invasive, quicker to perform and have less downtime.

Answer: Deep Plane Facelift There aren't any nonsurgical effective procedures that will even approximate the results of a well performed facelift. In fact, many such procedures can complicate your eventual facelift. A deep plane facelift in my practice is performed under IV sedation, with approximate initial recovery of about 2 weeks (until makeup and light cardio activity). Best to seek a consultation for a review of your specific case.

Answer: Deep plane facelift and necklift Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. In general, when the fullness of the jawline is increased, added volume in the pre-jowl depressions creates a smoother contour of the jaw but at the expense of are slightly bigger appearance of the lower face which is not always an advantage. A deep plane facelift combined with deep plane necklift is more likely to produce a balanced correction for the lower face and neck and reduces the size of the lower face which typically makes the eyes appear more noticeable. Recovery time is usually two weeks for return to work in 3 to 4 weeks for return to exercise. It is often carried out under a general anaesthesia but local anaesthesia with intravenous sedation is also an option.
