When they removed the tape from my right breast there was a small opening at he t junction. I know this is common, but what is the typical healing process look like? Should I expect I to get worse before it gets better? 2 Days Post tape removal the wound looks bigger, with more fibrin. At what point should the white be cleaned away?

Answer: Breast Wounds It is very common to have delayed healing of these delicate areas. Your surgeon will manage this for you. It may require antibiotic creams. Even though these areas are small, they can take weeks to heal and sometimes longer. They rarely affect the outcome or final breast appearance.

Answer: Mommy Makeover Recovery JM1204. It is not unusual to have delayed healing in the area noted in your photograph after breast reduction or breast lift. Check in with your surgeon regarding wound care, but generally speaking, clean it daily with soap and water and cover it with antibiotic ointment. It should heal secondarily uneventfully over the next 1 to 2 weeks. Best of luck.
