I need another alternative that's as strong as senna laxatives ?

I've been taking senna laxatives for a while now and I'm 5 days post op tummy tuck and I took two yesterday but they still have not worked .. Is their anything else that's as strong as senna that can help me go ??

Nearly all opioids (morphine, fentanyl, percocet, etc) can cause constipation.  I try to avoid it with a special mixture of different pain medications.There are a number of different options to choose from once you are constipated. Some soften the stool and others get you moving.  Speak to your surgeon or GP. Many of the medications that patients take after having an abdominoplasty can cause constipation.  Taking a stool softener helps some patients.  Drinking plenty of fluids and walking as much as possible also helps some patients.  Still, even with these remedies, some post-tummy tuck patients will become constipated and relief is looked for.  I recommend avoiding any oral laxatives which can increase cramping of all of the intestines and instead recommend patients use a laxative suppository which only acts on the large intestine minimizing cramping.  Please consult with your plastic surgeon before taking any medication, even over the counter medications.  Hope this helps.
