I need another alternative that's as strong as senna laxatives ?

Nearly all opioids (morphine, fentanyl, percocet, etc) can cause constipation.  I try to avoid it with a special mixture of different pain medications.There are a number of different options to choose from once you are constipated. Many of the medications that patients take after having an abdominoplasty can cause constipation.  Taking a stool softener helps some patients.  Drinking plenty of fluids and walking as much as possible also helps some patients.  Still, even with these remedies, some post-tummy tuck patients will become constipated and relief is looked for.  I recommend avoiding any oral laxatives which can increase cramping of all of the intestines and instead recommend patients use a laxative suppository which only acts on the large intestine minimizing cramping.  Please consult with your plastic surgeon before taking any medication, even over the counter medications.  Hope this helps.
