Just had lipo (inner thighs, back of arm, revision of waist hips and upper abs) I read that lymphatic massages are good to help with the swelling. I am going on a cruise in 9 weeks and i'm hoping to try to speed up some of the swelling. Is it a good idea or am I wasting my money?

Answer: Re: your liposuction question Hi, thank you for your question. I have not found that lymphatic massage is very helpful after liposuction. Your swelling should be dramatically reduced in 9 weeks. Enjoy your cruise!

Answer: How beneficial are lymphatic massages after lipo? I do not recommend massages for my patients after liposuction procedures but many PSs do. My patients typically wear adjustable compression garments 24/7 for six weeks.
