I am devastated with my postop results. They're far smaller than I imagined. What are my options? STATS:25yo.5'2 and 46kgs (~101lbs) very fit/active. PREOP cup 8-10A. POST OP: full 10B with 180cc anatomical implant, under the muscle I know it is unrealistic for a surgeon to guarantee cup size. I wanted at least a C cup. I wanted a full natural looking breast. How soon can I get bigger implants? Should I swap to round implants to create a fuller look? How big would I need? I think at least 240cc?
Answer: Breast implants too small Hi there,Your surgery has been expertly done, with a lovely result. But they are not going to get any bigger. Sizing patients involves good two way communication, and we mostly get it right, but we don't always get it right. Patients themselves are often conservative with their requests, at least initially. But an incorrect size is a readily fixable problem. If you're too small, call your surgeons office and book an early post op consultation. The only solution is to have an exchange for larger implants. Discuss it openly, and I'm sure you and your surgeon will be on the same side - that is, both of you want a happy patient and a good result. There will be a way forward for you to achieve the result you want. Please don't be devastated. All the very best.

Answer: Breast augmentation revision I'm sorry youre not happy with your result, that can be very emotionally challenging. Beyond breast size, there does not appear to be any issues with your augmentation. You can certainly have a revision augmentation with larger breast implants. I would recommend traditional implants if you want a rounder upper pole look. Also its very important that you try on sizers to estimate how much larger you want to be before you undergo a revision. I would speak to your plastic surgeon about this. Best wishes, Dr. Jan

Answer: Round implants Thanks for your question...I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with your result. I suggest speaking to your surgeon about alternative/next steps. Consider getting round implants and increasing the cc size. I do recommend waiting until you are more healed before undergoing another surgery. Please speak to your surgeon if you are still concerned. You can learn more on our social media (Instagram and Snapchat): @realdrsix. Regards,

Answer: Breast implant size - Hi there. Everything looks great for this early stage but unfortunately, the breast size will not increase with time. Sizing is a key part of the initial consultation but even with careful communication, expectations are occasionally not met with implant size.. In these situations, it is often helpful just to let things settle before considering rash treatment decisions. Having said that, revising to larger implants is relatively straight forward. The timing of revision is surgeon dependent bit anytime form 3 months is reasonable. Good luck.

Answer: Option six days after surgery? Option six days after surgery?Congratulations on your recent breast augmentation! At six days after surgery, your options at this point is just simply to wait and allow for the drop and fluff stage to begin and end. Once your breast implants are fully dropped then you will know Your final size. This may take as long as one year. If you do not like you say space six months, however, I think you can consider an early revision surgery to go into a bigger implant. Be sure to seek your plastic surgeons advice and what can be done in the near future to improve your situation!

Answer: You will need larger implants Dear Islamaree: While your result does appear to be excellent, your breasts are clearly not a "C" cup and nothing will get you there except replacing the implants you currently have with larger implants. My opinion is that 240 cc won't get you to a "C" either and would suggest 325 cc as a minimum. There is no time frame you must wait, and you could undergo the procedure tomorrow if it works with your schedule and that of your surgeon.Whether you should switch to round implants or not is a completely separate issue. Why were anatomical implants chosen in the first place? Are you looking for upper breast poles that can be hidden in your blouse or do you want breasts that are more noticable? If the latter is the case then yes, I would recommend round implants. It's time you had a discussion with your surgeon. I imagine s/he will want you to be happy, will recognize you are not a "C" cup and be eager to help you out.Best of luck to you!.G. Robert Meger MD
