Actually, in my practice I am busy year-round, but even busier between September (after kids are back in school) and May (when summer fun in Minnesota starts). So "winter months" is definitely NOT our "off-season!"We charge the same price all year. SInce summer is off season for teachers, snow plowers, and many other professions, whereas winter may be off season for other professions, we are busy enough throughout the year that there is really no reason to discount.I do offer a 10% discount off surgeon's fee for women referred by Realself, and a few other individuals near and dear to my heart, but not because there's a "slow" season. Sorry, and that's pretty much what you will find everywhere. If you would find a "discount," would you really want that surgeon operating on you? Best wishes! Dr. Tholen
The offseason is September and October because people are busy putting their children back in school, and have spent too much money on vacation in the summer. This doesn't necessarily mean you are going to get a discount, but it is the slowest time of the year.
