I'm four weeks post-op as of 20 Aug. I received 315 gr. I'm feeling good and just wondering if I can do rebounding exercises (mini trampoline)? Will the G power effect my final result? Shall I wait another month before I can jump on the rebounder? Is it the same for skipping? Thank you!
Answer: Starting exercise again Congratulations on your recent surgery! At 3 weeks you should be okay to resume cardio and light aerobic activity. I would stay away from any chest exercises such as bench press, push-ups, and flys until 6-8 weeks post-op. However keep in mind if you have a sub muscular implant placement doing chest exercises will cause the chest muscle to push the implants out taking away that feminine cleavage. Best of Luck!

Answer: When can i start rebounding exercises or skipping after breast augmentation? I appreciate your question. I recommend you contact your Surgeon for the best and most safe advice as he/she should have a detailed list of post op instructions for you. He/she can also examine you, determine how you are healing at this time and recommend what activities are most safe to resume. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. best of luck! Dr Schwartz

Answer: Post op activity Hello,Thank you for your question. I recommend patients can begin cardio and sometimes higher impact activities at 3 weeks, no heavy lifting until 6 weeks. Each Plastic Surgeon will have their own preferred post op protocols. I recommend that you check with your Plastic Surgeon and have them clear you to reintroduce high impact activity. All the best!

Answer: Recovery after breast augmentation After breast implant surgery, I advise the patients to take one week off from work. At that point we take out their stitches and teach them the implant massage technique. We suggest 5 times per day with the massage and no bra for one month. The patients may return to work, but may not engage in any strenuous activity. At one month, the patients start to wear a soft cup bra with no underwire and can start low impact cardio. At two months they can wear an underwire bra and engage in more strenuous physical activity. Breast massage continues forever, although only once per day. The rebounder is strictly off limits for 3 months.
