I recently had a procedure for 1420 grafts to reinforce a stabilized lateral hairline and temples. I healed extremely fast. My donor was undetectable in 3 days, and my scabs were entirely off in 4 days. I would say 50% of the hairs have shed. Is this normal this early on? If I'm shedding transplanted hairs right now, should I be worried? There is no pain, scabs or redness. The hairs are just falling in ones and twos, and again, only about 50% of the hairs have fallen so far.

At between 3-4 months most of the shedding should have been completed, but clearly in your case, there appears to still be some grafts that are shedding late.
It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. Direct sunlight on a fresh wound can discolor your skin.
These hairs will sooner or later shed. They are never a problem for new hairs that start to grow. Usually, there is a lag time between the time the hairs shed (2-8 weeks) and the time the new hair grows (3-8 months). IF for any reason, there is an overlap between the two, pay no attention to it...
