I showered 4 or 5 times since surgery on November 27. I applied some oil on my chest for dryness but it may have irritated my breast? Is this a rash or stretch marks? I'm freaking out. It looks more like a rash to me but my body stretches so bad it may just be stretch marks.

Answer: Is this a rash from the tape or stretch mark? I appreciate your question. Since there has been a change in your post op course, please contact your surgeon so he/she can examine you and recommend most appropriate treatment plan at this time. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Rash from tape or Stretch mark Thank you for the question and photos. It looks like you have an irritation due to the tape on that one side of your breast. It's still too early in your post op recovery so give your body time to heal. If your concern doesn't get better in the next few days, it would be best to visit your surgeon. Best of luck.
