Surgical bra too tight?

Yes, this bra looks a bit tight for you.  I would adjust to a lesser setting, however, please discuss with your plastic surgeon first!I hope that this helps!

Hi & thank you for your question.The surgical  bra  is worn  for compression & support. It should be tight, but not so tight that it leaves indents. Contact your surgeon to discuss concerns & changing the bra to a larger one. Best of luck!

It sounds as if your surgical bra is too tight. Schedule an appointment to see your surgeon so that he can assess whether or not you can stop wearing one or need a larger size. Best, Dr. Nazarian

Thank you for sharing. Check with your PS about the fit. Your particular surgery is specific to you. Some plastic surgeons will use bras or breast binder garments to help support tissues and possibly reduce some of the swelling early after the procedure. Best wishes

Based on your narrative I agree that it sounds as if your bra is too tight. I would get in touch with your surgeon's office tomorrow and voice your concern.  They should be able to get you a larger surgical bra or recommend an alternative bra that you could use so as to keep you comfortable.

If the markings are not clearing up after 30 minutes of removing bra, then things are too tight.  Be sure to discuss with your own surgeon about how this applies to you, and whether they have any special concerns in your case.

Hello dear, thanks for your question and provided pictures with information as well. I recommend you to always follow your doctor's instructions, also.. You need to have your surgical bra tight but not too much because that can give you skin marks.. Surgical bra's are used for compress and give support to your implants

I usually have patients wear a soft sports bra during the early post-op period. I do to want it to be tight. Best to ask your surgeon what he prefers.

Thank you for your question. Once you are placed in a post surgical bra there can still be swelling. This could cause the fitting of the bra to feel tighter.  I would advise you to consult with your Surgeon. Good luck.
