2 months after fue surgery and have major concerns. First is this type or scarring normal I haven't seen anything that looks like what I have, so is it damaged? Secondly is another fue surgery in the future possible if it has scarred to much. I have been using a aloe vera lotion to try and prevent it from getting worse as I was told this was a good idea. Are there any other recommendations at all?

Answer: Fue hairtransplant scaring Contrary to common belief, every time incision is made through the skin scaring can happen. Fue is follicular unit extraction which means harvesting the grafts using a round instrument going through the skin and pulling the hair out. Therefore scaring can happen in the donor area. For a second procedure, you have to see a doctor after one year to make sure that you do not get donor depeletion in the back of the head if second procedure is performed. If you are concerned about the redness in front of your head, you need to contact your hairtransplant doctor for advise.
