I had the wedge labiaplasty with CHR. There are hard lumps still and extra layers of skin that are somewhat painful when touched. Is that my frenelum? How can this be fixed?
Answer: How to fix lumps after labiaplasty Lumps can be fixed. However, if your labiaplasty was recently done, some of these lumps may represent temporary swelling. This takes time to go away. How long varies from person to person. I would recommend waiting at least six months from your surgery to be sure that these are not temporary issues.

Answer: Revision Labiaplasty Thanks for your post. It appears you are recently postop so things will appear better over time. Once all the swelling is gone you could then assess if you would want to improve the appearance which would require an expertly performed clitoral hood reduction, labiaplasty and excision of excess perineal skin between the vagina and anus. You'll have to wait till you are 5-6 months postop. Go to the link below to see hundreds of before and after photos where you will find many examples that are similar to you. From that link you can schedule a virtual consultation via phone or zoom, at which time we can discuss in depth your anatomy, expectations and concerns. Answer: CAN THIS BE FIXED WITH REVISION THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUESTIONThe photos show sloppy work where the the prepuce is inadequately treated as well as poor symmetry and irregularity on the labia. This can be improved by properly and symmetrically reducing the prepuce and smoothing out the labia minora

Answer: Labiaplasty revision Yes the lumps can be corrected. Be aware that some of the lumps can be from swelling after the labiaplasty and you need to wait at least six months after the procedure to allow the swelling to resolve. If the lumps are still present then you could consider a revision of the labiaplasty.

Answer: After the labioplasty Hello, as far as I can see from the name, excess tissues that you do not like can be removed with another revision surgery.

Answer: Labiaplasty revision As the inventor and innovator of the wedge technique in 1994, I reconstruct many women who have had labia reductions by other surgeons, both wedge and trimming techniques. It is difficult to understand your anatomy with these photos. It does not have the appearance of a typical wedge labiaplasty. Your photos are two months after surgery, so it is still early to determine the best method of reconstruction. No attempt to revise your labia should be done until you are at least five months after your past procedure as your appearance will improve, and the swelling and pain will be less. You need to control your anxiety and wait. The reconstruction is much more difficult than a primary labiaplasty and should be done by a plastic surgeon with extensive experience in labia reconstruction. I published the first and most extensive paper on labia reconstruction in the prestigious journal "Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery" about ten years ago. Approximately 40% of the surgeries I perform are revisions of other surgeons’ labiaplasties. You will need various reconstructive techniques to give you a good appearance, but this won't be known until all the swelling is gone. I am sure your appearance can be improved. You only get one good chance to reconstruct you, so be patient and ask a lot of questions. Gary J. Alter, M.D. Beverly Hills, CA - Manhattan, NY
