In order to determine if a labiaplasty revision is the best course of management for your problem, you need to share photos or schedule a consultation virtually or in person. Only then can a technique be suggested. Otherwise, any opinions are meaningless.

You need to share images in order to decide whether a labiaplasty revision is the best course of action for your situation. Then a method be recommended.

As the inventor and innovator of the wedge technique in 1994, I reconstruct many women who have had labia reductions by other surgeons, both wedge and trimming techniques​. You had a trimming labiaplasty which can result in asymmetry, excess clitoral hood, scalloping, and tenderness. Persistent pain and tender areas are not uncommon with trimming labiaplasties. I often reconstruct these cases with multiple wedges or replacing the scar with normal-unscarred tissue. I may use multiple wedge excisions to reduce your labia, eliminate many of your scallops, and improve symmetry. Sometimes, I use skin from the sides of your clitoral hood to partially of totally replace the labium. The reconstruction is much more difficult than a primary labiaplasty and should be done by a plastic surgeon with extensive experience in labia reconstruction. I published the first and most extensive paper on labia reconstruction in the prestigious journal "Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery" about ten years ago. You can have a much better appearance by a very skilled reconstructive labiaplasty surgery along with elimination of the pain. In my hands, the pain is almost always eliminated or much better. Approximately 50% of the surgeries I perform are revisions of other surgeons' labiaplasties. You only get one good chance to reconstruct you, so be patient and ask a lot of questions.

Hello, after the operation, sensitivity points may vary from person to person. You need to determine where the pain is with a detailed examination. and then it is decided whether you are suitable for wedge incision. You can feel more comfortable when the painful areas are removed. I wish you healthy days.

In my experience, I find that the downside of trim labiaplasty can be scar irritation, as it is along the most prominent area of the labia minora. I have performed several revision procedures in converting these patients to a wedge with improvements in symptoms. It would be important to make sure you have sufficient tissue to have a revision procedure and to determine which specific area of the incision line is causing the most irritation and pain to ensure that an additional procedure would be safe and would improve your symptoms.

In some cases sensitivity along the incision line can be observed. Before trying labiaplasty revision, it is useful to give a chance to noninvasive approaches with regenerative effects such as PRP, hyaluronic acid and nanofat to the incision area.

You will not benefit from having a central or anterior wedge resection. Unfortunately, no photographs were attached to your query; in order to give you a cogent answer I will need a good-quality photoset, one from "above," and the other 3 taken from in-between your legs, frog legged, both "straight-on, and from the left & right sides.

Additionally, first your pain must be dealt with (there are good methods for this-- you'd need a consultation with a "Revision Specialist...") Once the pain is diminished, then the possibility & technique for revision may be discussed.
