Hello, I am looking into getting gynecomastia surgery and was quoted separately for both the gynecomastia surgery as well as an additional quote for liposuction of the chest region. Is that something normal that would occur, meaning the gynecomastia surgery is a separate procedure from liposuction of the chest?

An examination is needed to see what might be present other than muscle. If it is not muscle, you may have some residual fat or breast tissue, more likely. I doubt scar tissue would be an issue. Please go back to your surgeon and discuss your concerns.
