Healthy people at their ideal weight should have the best overall recovery from a TT and lipo, but some of this will depend upon the surgical technique and adherence to postoperative protocols.

Hello!A corset tummy tuck I believe means you will get muscle repair in addition to skin removal. If you have lax muscles the procedure is indicated. If the fullness in your abdomen is just some local fatty deposition, then liposuction would be a better option, and liposuction in addition of waist and back may make an even nicer waistline.I would recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon. The rib cage will not be impacted by a tummy tuck.  The procedure can tighten any muscle separation of the abdomen and remove excess fat and skin.  Liposuction can help to contour the area.  The surgeon still must work within the framework of your body's anatomy.

Thank you for sharing your question.  A tummy tuck muscle repair will help to narrow the soft tissue waist of a patient if it has been stretched or separated over time, weight loss, or pregnancy.  This is the area between the rib cage and upper hip bone.  Otherwise the rib cage alone will not materially be impacted.
